High performance damp-proofing injection cream for the treatment of rising damp. Injected into holes drilled into the mortar course in order to form a damp-proof course (DPC). Proven effective in walls up to 95% saturation
Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM is a single-pack barrier coating that is supplied ready to use. It is available in black or white with a consistency similar to that of thick emulsion paint.
Drygrip Adhesive is a salt and damp resistant adhesive glue Fixes plasterboard to walls without the need for battens or screws. Easily applied with the Dryzone High Viscosity Applicator gun cures to allow plasterboard to accept new plaster after only 1-2 hours.
When rising damp occurs, the ground water that rises up the wall will often contain salts. Where the ground water evaporates, at the maximum height of the rising damp, it can deposit these salts in crystallised form. The salts are either deposited within the plaster or on the surface of the wall itself, appearing as efflorescence.
Oldroyd Xv Clear is a semi-transparent, BBA approved studded cavity drainage membrane manufactured from polypropylene. It is specifically designed for application to damp / contaminated internal floors and walls, and is particularly useful in basement waterproofing / conversion applications.
Joints and overlaps are sealed with Oldroyd overseal tape available in two sizes 75mm and 200mm
Oldroyd 'Xp' Plaster Membrane (Plaster Lath) is a studded polypropylene waterproofing membrane with a special mesh welded to one side. It is fixed to damp, contaminated walls using Oldroyd Plaster Plugs, with the studs facing the wall. This creates an air-gap which allows the wall to breathe whilst blocking the passage of moisture. On the reverse side of the membrane, the special mesh can be plastered onto, allowing a dry plaster finish to be achieved without the risk of contamination from any damp or salts in the wall.
Available: 40 sq mtr rolls (2mtr x 20mts) and a plaster P kit containing everything you need to cover 7.5m2Kit includes -1.5m x 5m roll of Oldroyd Plaster P membrane, 100 x Oldroyd Plaster Plugs with Seal, 6m Roll of Oldroyd Sealing Tape.
Typical areas of application include* Covering damp & contaminated walls* Basement conversion projects* Barn conversion projects* Protection against penetrating damp
Application:
Oldroyd "Xp" is hung vertically on the wall and is fixed into place using specially designed plaster plugs.
Joints are sealed using Double-sided sealing tape. A plaster finish is then applied in accordance with good practice.
Oldroyd 'Xp' Plaster Membrane is especially useful in situations where a damp wall is contaminated by salts or the residue of previous attempts to waterproof the wall (such as bitumen). Unlike cementitious, epoxy, or bitumen coatings, Oldroyd P can be applied directly to contaminated surfaces with minimal preparation.
As an alternative to a plaster finish, plasterboard can be applied directly to Oldroyd 'Xp'. The plasterboard is attached to the Oldroyd 'Xp' by applying dabs of bonding compound to the heads of the Oldroyd Plaster Plugs that are used to attach the membrane to the wall. Consideration should also be made to the use of Oldroyd Xv Clear membrane which can be used in conjunction with the Fastframe Drylining System and requires fewer fixings.
Oldroyd Xv20 benefits from large 20mm dimension studs providing greater drainage and flow capacity than standard cavity drain membranes. For this reason Oldroyd Xv20 is ideally suited to civil-engineering applications and the waterproofing of large commercial basements.
Oldroyd Xs is a tough polypropylene cavity drainage membrane embossed with an "X" pattern of grooves. These grooves allow moisture to move behind the membrane and allow for shrinkage movement when screeds are laid on top.
A box of 200 yellow brick plugs and seals to fix and secure the Oldroyd Xv damp proof Membrane, 1 box of 200 brick plugs is required per roll of Oldroyd Xv cavity drainage membrane. Each plug is designed when fixed in place to except a screw fixing if a dry lining system is desired.
Oldroyd XP plaster plugs with seals (Blue plugs)
Available: A box of 200 plaster plugs and seals to fix and secure the Oldroyd Plaster Xp Membrane.
Double-sided sealing tape for sealing between sections of Oldroyd cavity membrane and plaster membranes flange joints
Available: 20mtr rolls (30mm x 2mm)
Sealing tape for butt joints and overlaps (75mm x 1.5mm).
20m
Sealing flange joints on floor (200mm x 1.5mm).
A special fleeced overseal tape for use with Oldroyd Xp membrane.
Professional Woodworm Treatment Lignum Pro I62.5 is a professional concentrated product containing an insecticide to eradicate and prevent attack by wood boring beetles. It is highly effective against all life stages of woodboring insects and woodworm. The formulation is water-based producing a Non-flammable, quick drying product containing no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It has virtually no odour. How Insecticides Work Microemulsion technology allows the active ingredient Permethrin to penetrate deep into the timber. The pyrethroid insecticide is proven to work against a wide range of woodboring insects. How to Apply Concentrated Woodworm Killer Preparation: Ensure the wood is clean and free from dust and all contaminants. Application: The concentrated product is diluted with water. You can then apply with either a low pressure spray or brush to provide long lasting protection. Depending on wood and ambient conditions, it should be touch dry in one hour. After 24 hours, you should be able to overcoat the product again depending on conditions.
Coverage: 1L of concentrate treats 82.5 - 125m2 of timber depending on use.
Preventative: 200ml/m2 (1L per 5m2 ) Curative: 300ml/m2 (1L per 3.3m2 )

Dual Treatment: Protect Against Woodworm & Fungi This professional concentrated dual purpose product contains an insecticide and fungicide to protect and preserve timber. It is designed to eradicate and prevent attack by wood boring beetles and prevent wood destroying and discolouring fungi. Lignum Pro D156 is effective against a wide range of wood rotting fungi including both wet rot and dry rot whilst the pyrethroid insecticide is effective against all life stages of wood boring insects. It is also effective against fungal staining. The concentrated product is diluted with water and can be used during the drying out period after the elimination of the source of damp. It is virtually odourless and can be applied either by brush or low pressure spray to provide long lasting protection. How does the Dual Treatment Work? The dual purpose treatment uses microemulsion technology to ensure the active ingredients (a combination of insecticide & fungicide) can fully penetrate the timber. This product also contains IPBC (3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate) 31.25g/L: a carbamate fungicide that is added to provide excellent efficacy against a range of wood staining fungi. How to Use Dual Treatment Wood should be clean and free from wood dust and other contaminants. Once diluted according to instructions, the woodworm and fungi treatment can be applied using a pressure spray or brush. The dual treatment does not have a finish but it is always advisable to try on a small inconspicuous area before application to ensure product finish is as expected. Wood treated with Lignum dual purpose treatment can be overpainted, varnished or stained once dry (usually an hour after application). It is suitable for over coating 24 hours after application.
